So, I started this project as a simple idea for a great domain name, but it is now evolving and rapidly growing into something way beyond that which I can handle myself. Quickly I’ve seen that in order to fulfill the potential of the far-reaching vision I have for this site, I will need help from contributors and collaborators on a few different levels. So if the vision below speaks to you and you’d like to contribute your intellect, experience or expertise – I have a list below that needs some chipping away at. Feel free to do whatever calls to you.
We will provide free annual services to anyone who provides a substantial contribution.
The Vision:
“To create a centralized, authoritative social media resource for corporations, small businesses and individuals to learn from, interact with and procure industry experts and services, as well as to help foster and nurture the adoption of social media and online communities to bring positive change to the market economy.”
Contributors and Collaborators Needed
I say ‘collaborators’ because in addition to a community of contributors, this project needs a core group of 3 to 6 people who are passionate about the vision for a site like this, who are willing to be collaborators initially, and partners eventually – people who can see the opportunity. Because, of course, while this is a great opportunity to create an authoritative resource and community – it is also an excellent opportunity to create a profit making venture that is supported and sustained by the community itself and the people it serves. What do contributors get out of it?
Social capital – a very important asset in this new social economy. That means community acknowledgment, credibility and pride of contribution to a worthy project – these provide a value much higher than a simple payment. Of course you will get back more than you put into this – as recognition for your contribution here by both the community and the people and organizations who will benefit from it. Who knows what a simple contribution may lead to?
Contributors will receive any of our services (excluding premium sponsorship) free for one year.

We Need Contributors To:
- Add your resume for immediate listing in our resume search results, or add your social media service company to our directory. If you have anything to do with design, development, content creation, creative, social or internet marketing, campaign management or community involvement, post your resume for businesses and individuals to find you.
- Provide Insightful and Intelligent Articles. Got something valuable about social media or online communities you’d like us to feature here on our blog? – write a guest post.
- Suggest social networks, communities, tools and related resources for inclusion in our directory. Suggest here.
- Suggest functionality upgrades that will make our site more efficient or extensive. Suggest here.
- Suggest usability and design upgrades – but remember, they must be constructive suggestions, not weak opinions.

We need people to spread the word and let others in key business positions, as well as social media service providers and job seekers know that this new resource exists. We’ll also be looking for forum moderators and participants – we’re installing BuddyPress over the next few weeks to get the community here rolling! We’ll announce a few days before it’s ready.
