We're so much more than just a phone company! Senior Marketing Manager - Social Media Marketing Content ManagerThe objective of this role is to drive AT&T U-verse sales by creating awareness, education and consideration throughout social media channels. The primary focus will be managing an AT&T U-verse branded Facebook Page as well as the AT&T branded Page U-verse tab. Key goals include driving traffic to .com sites, number of fans, sales and engagement. This role interfaces throughout the organization with many groups including ecomm, U-verse product (functionality, content, .net), advertising, PR, legal, traditional marketing groups and other teams as well. Specific job functions include, but are not limited to:  Create and Optimize Page content based on:
  • Multiple business drivers
  • Live social media metrics about the content and the Page
  • Best practices and experience regarding effective Page content management
Manage content calendar to continuously publish Facebook content:
  • U-verse Page posts
  • AT&T Page posts
  • Partner Page posts
  • U-verse Page photos and videos
  • U-verse Page banners
  • AT&T Page U-verse banners and features
Define and tune U-verse Facebook page voice and tone for conversations with Fans, Posts, and Facebook Messages  Develop, plan, and optimize U-verse Facebook ad campaigns based on:
  • Business strategy for Page growth,
  • Current and past campaign performance metrics
  • Virality and retention mathematical models
Partner with Facebook and other vendors, content creators, and application developers to continuously refine and update the Page's marketing execution approach to:
  • Promote Page growth
  • Drive referrals
  • Create offers
  • Improve product brand awareness
Implement marketing and messaging on behalf of the U-verse Page throughout U-verse communications such as email, direct marketing and other tactics  Serve as internal liaison to key contributing organizations, including:
  • U-verse product teams
  • Corporate communications team
  • CARE (support) team
Measure, analyze, and report on Page business results, based on the following key metrics:
  • Sales contribution
  • Marketing efficiency
  • Competitive share
  • Product brand awareness and health

This position can be located in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX.

 

Qualifications

Job-Specific Qualifications:
  • Digital marketing background, including experience with major brands
  • Expertise and experience in social media marketing (Facebook required, other platforms a plus)
  • Experience in management of a variety of assets within the Facebook Platform, including:

- Pages / Fan Pages

- Page-based apps

- Profile-based apps

- Basic FBML (other FB languages a plus)

- Insights

  • Experience in business analysis, including marketing effectiveness metrics
  • Basic rich media editing skills (e.g., Photoshop, Final Cut)
  • Conversant in basic principles of search optimization, user experience, Web metrics, content management
Required Qualifications:
  • Five years marketing experience
  • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
  • Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks
Desired Qualifications:
  • Six or more years marketing experience
  • Experience with project management systems
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them
  • Experience in technology segment is a plus
