Position Description:
Digital Media Integration Manager
We are currently seeking a Digital Media Manager to plan and execute daily Stericycle website management activities for Stericycle.com. The Digital Media Manager will develop strategic vision for the Stericycle web presence, including, but not limited to, site design, search engine optimization and social media. Additionally, this person will manage customer-facing web applications and web development projects for all the divisions of Stericycle.
Plan and execute daily Stericycle website management activities for Stericycle.com and other international Stericycle websites including:
Manage all aspects of corporate web presence and content and maintenance
Manage customer-facing web applications and web development projects for all the divisions of Stericycle.
Contribute to integration of acquisitions, by managing web transitions
Coordinate and advise international business units on web activities
Manage vendor partnerships, including creative agencies and web development firms engaged on behalf of Stericycle
Search Engine Management including:
Manage paid search and organic search activity on a daily basis
Review opportunities for optimization, such as bid and budget on a routine basis
Utilize control/variable testing methodology to optimize creative
Report routinely on SEM/SEO activity to business unit leads, etc
Leverage web analytics tools to measure efficacy of initiatives
Review and stay current on the latest web business develop tools, techniques and inventions for application to Stericycle
Manage web-based lead generation activity including:
Monitoring converted leads and lead ROI; identify opportunities to improve conversion and close rate from web campaigns
Work with SBUs in establishing and monitoring new Ad Word for new ventures or additional product lines
Evaluate programs, opportunities, and technologies for lead generation and/or lead nurturing, providing recommendations as appropriate
Evaluate Social Media Opportunities:
Concept and establish Stericycle social media presence
Present Stericycle and its business units in a positive light at an appropriate level of information sharing
Report on results of listening activities and their impact on strategic planning
Develop social media policy and guidelines for employees
Contribute to and participate in corporate strategic planning activities as needed, particularly as it relates to building business via the web.
Position Requirements:
Education equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related field, or the equivalent in related work experience.
Seven or more years of work experience in related field with agency experience preferred demonstrating proficiency with web content management systems.
Demonstrates the following:
Proficiency with pay per click tools including Google Adwords, Yahoo, MSN/Bing and analytical tools including Google Analytics.
Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office programs and related marketing/communications technologies.
Experience with a variety of communication vehicles (print, web, video, scripts, presentations) and experience with "new media," including social media and collaboration sites.
Ability to develop and implement strategies and programs that support and help meet business objectives.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative environment
Experience working with B2B brands
Experience working with market research, competition studies, and channel performance evaluations
Ability to help define proper processes for working with global partners
