The Director of Social Media Moderation in the PWI Online Channels organization will maintain and optimize PWI's presence in social media.  This will include daily monitoring of assigned external social media accounts, posting new content to such site(s), and replying to incoming comments as appropriate.  This role will also build and support new processes, products, and capabilities to contribute to Fidelity business and customer success via social media channels.

 

This is a new position, to reflect the growing importance of connecting with Fidelity customers and prospects in socially-oriented online properties beyond our own websites as well as to bring social capabilities to our sites.

 

PWI Online Channels is responsible for providing an integrated online and Rep-assisted customer experience that is personalized, engaging and easy-to-use. We are keenly focused on customer satisfaction and innovation.  We work on: customer self-service on Fidelity.com and NetBenefits; channel infrastructure and enablers; online marketing throughout our websites; strategy and innovation for the PWI online customer experience; the future generation of rep desktops; and web channel metrics and governance.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  •       Moderate social media activities for PWI.  This includes operating Twitter and/or Facebook accounts for Fidelity, as well as our presence on other site(s) to be determined.

  •       Content strategy and development for daily social media communications, both proactive from Fidelity as well as appropriate responses to incoming communications

  •       Social media platform (Twitter, Facebook, and others) subject matter expert

    o        Develop expertise in Fidelity's social media platforms including their operating policies and procedures

    o        Test, pilot, and use new platforms as needed

  •        Manage legal, regulatory and compliance processes

  •        Contribute to reporting, measurement and analysis

  •        Strategy and planning / product development

    o        Stay current with industry, competitive, and technology trends and translate this into actionable plans for Fidelity, including new innovations and applications for new technology

  •        Be a team player - moderator will also back up other roles on the team, including but not limited to other moderators, community managers, operations, measurement, and strategy as requested
